Bernhard J. Smid, CEO
He is the founder of Matchmaking Brazil and responsible for the overall company activities. He works as institutional and government affairs professional, conducting specific projects in the international level. Previously, he was Secretary of International Relations in the Government of Amazonas, besides having worked in public and private entities in Brazil, Germany and the United States.
Academically, he holds a Master's in International Business from the Munich Business School (Germany) and a MBA in Foreign Trade from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
Expert on regulatory aspects of innovation, he holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin, Germany) and a law degree in England and Brazil, where he is also a qualified lawyer. Previously, Danilo worked as a private equity and finance lawyer for Linklaters LLP and Olswang LLP in London.
Currently residing in Atlanta, in the United States, he represents Matchmaking Brazil, acting as Country Manager.
She has 20 years of work experience in national and multinational companies of different sizes, particularly in the overall marketing and communication chain with a focus on brand awareness and visibility; in the development of strategic analysis and implementation of innovative actions to improve business performance through design thinking methodology; and lead finder, using tools like CRM, SEO and inbound marketing.
Additionally, Daniela has experience in business development, institutional relationship with entities and associations, advocacy, risk mapping and crisis management..
She has been awarded seven times for achievements in the commercial and marketing areas and is co-author of the book: Women of Marketing.
She has extensive experience in project management and international cooperation programs, particularly in the environment, infrastructure, energy, health, science and innovation sectors.
Previously, Márcia worked for the UK Government on bilateral cooperation programs.
